The location of their vineyards is impeccable: directly next to Ornellaia and opposite Le Macchiole!
Cabernet Franc has an exciting future in the “Californian” style climate of Bolgheri because it has naturally high acidity to balance the region’s typically high alcohols, smooth tannins and powerful fruit flavours. This wine was matured for 22 months in 30% new French barriques and a further year in bottle before release. It is one of the most opulent and hedonist Cabernet Francs we have tasted! Awarded 98/100 by Falstaff magazine and one of their top 5 wines from Bolgheri in this vintage.
