This wine is a blend of Chateau Thivin’s 7 vineyards on the old, volcanic soils of the Cote de Brouilly. Average vine age is 50 years old. The wine has good substance and weight of red cherry fruit flavous, balanced by fresh, tense acidity. It is built to develop in bottle over at least 10 years.
