Their village Savigny is delicious. It has fresh and spicy red cherry fruit flavours, notable structure and depth, and gentle hints of pine. Really impressive and interesting – this producer is one of my favourite Burgundy discoveries of the year!
“Aromas of rose petals, dark chocolate and loamy soil marry with rich, plummy fruit, introducing the 2018 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Fourneaux, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and gourmand wine built around powdery tannins and succulent acids.
