From 50 year old vines grown on granite soils just outside the village of Quincié, this is no ordinary Beaujolais nouveau! Chateau Thivin’s hallmark freshness and finesse combine with beautifully ripe, red cherry and strawberry fruit flavours. This has surprising weight and concentration for a wine so young!
2023 was a year of many contrasts during the growing season, with a fresh spring, hail storms and a hot and dry end to the summer. Chateau Thivin’s wines are well balanced and full bodied with lovely and complex flavours of very ripe fruits. Another great vintage with good ageing potential!
