Saumaize-Michelin Pouilly Fuissé Clos Sur La Roche – 2019

This is one of the top producers in the Pouilly Fuissé region. They work biodynamically, although are not certified, and their Clos Sur La Roche vineyard is without doubt of 1er cru quality. The wine is rich and pure with ripe, exotic fruit flavours intertwined with delicious butterscotch oak flavour. It has excellent underlying acidity giving freshness and good ageing potential.
