Made from the very low yielding “Pinot Fin” clone of pinot Noir, this amazing value red Burgundy was grown organically on the cool, west-facing slopes of Pernand Vergelesses, a little known village situated just round the hill from the Grand Cru of Corton Charlemagne! It has an open and expressive nose of red cherries and raspberries. The palate has fresh acidity together with perfectly ripe red cherry fruits, silky texture and impressive depth of flavor. This “simple” Bourgogne Rouge is a hidden gem which you really must discover for yourself!
