“The 2018 Auvernier Pinot Noir is deep, pure, ripe and fresh on the intense nose where spicy cherry aromas are displayed along with notes of crushed stones and a touch of leather. Dense, ripe and sweetish on the unusually rich palate, this is a super generous, dense and powerful Pinot with firm tannins and a long and intense, very aromatic finish. I’d decant the wine and use a really big glass, or cellar the wine for another five years, though it can be 10 or 20 as well.”
