Charles Heidsieck Blanc De Blancs Non Vintage

This Non Vintage Blanc De Blancs is a new release from Charles Heidsieck and is built to develop over 7 – 10 years. The Chardonnay grapes for this Champagne came 75% from the 2012 vintage and 25% from reserve wines with an average age of 5 years. The wine then spent at least 4 years on its lees in the winery’s famous chalk cellars.
On the nose it has aromas of white peach, lime, honeysuckle and fresh hazelnut. The palate is marked by fresh, taut acidity and elegance, with wonderful complexity and depth of flavor resulting from the 25% of reserve wine and long ageing on its lees.
