|When to drink|
This wine comes from 90 year old vines grown on the schist/volcanic soils of Morgon. It is produced naturally, with no added chemicals at any stage of its life in the vineyard or winery, which gives the wine incredible purity of red cherry fruit, freshness and minerality. It also has some weight on the mid palate and has been aged for 12 months in barrels previously used at Domaine de la Romanée Conti, no less! Because this has very small amounts of Sulphites we would advise you to store it at a constant temperature between 10-14C. At its best served slightly chilled on a warm summer’s day.
