85% Mencía, with Garnacha Tintorera, Merenzao, Brancellao and Sousón. From a single vineyard located in the As Ermitas paraje. 0.4 ha spread across a dozen centuries-old stone terraces with granite walls. East-facing. Decomposed granite with quartz schists.
Deep, dark ruby in colour. This has good depth of ripe, blue and blackberry fruit flavours with herbal, spicy and floral notes and a real “mountain” minerality. Smooth in texture and full of old vine personality. 13.5% alcohol
