Terenzuola Fosso di Corsano Vermentino Colli di Luni DOC – 2024

The organic-certified Terenzuola family winery produce delicious Vermentino-based white and red wines in the Colli di Luni wine region on the border of Tuscany and Liguria, about 5kms from the Mediterranean Sea just south of the Cinque Terre. These are wines of freshness and elegance which have a surprisingly capacity to develop in complexity over several years in bottle.
This superb Vermentino was grown on acidic sandstone and schist soils at 370mts altitude at the top of the Fosdinovo hill, where cooling winds blow in constantly from the sea just to the west and give the wine almost Riesling-like, razor-sharp acidity. This dry white has excellent tension and minerality and delicious, gentle floral and stone fruit flavours. Drink now until 2031.
