For me personally, this is the single most memorable vintage I have ever tasted from this great chateau next door to Latour. As well as wonderful fruit, balance and refined power, it has that same underlying bite of graphite minerality which you only usually find in Latour. A legend of the future I strongly suspect, and at half the price of the First Growths in this vintage, it does also appear pretty good value! PL
