This is one of my favourite Swiss Merlots and it comes not from Ticino but Georg Fromm’s Schöpfi vineyard in Malans! It is full bodied with flavours of dark fruits, plums and spice and a touch of vanilla. The tannins are firm and youthful; this needs a little time to open up. Drink 2022- 2029.
