Domaine Garon Cote Rotie Les Triotes – 2020

This 100% Syrah comes from the schistous “Cote Blonde” hillside of Cote Rotie, which is lighter and more elegant than the Cote Brune. It was matured for 16-18 months in 225l Frenck oak barrels, 15% of which were new.
The dark berry fruit has hints of violets and layers of flavour, whilst the tannins are firm but wonderfully ripe and velvety at the same time. Fresh yet powerful, a superb Cote Rotie from the warm and sunny 2020 vintage which will accompany classic red meat dishes perfectly.
