This delicious, spicy, floral red comes from 100% Syrah grapes grown on 80 year old vines on limestone soils above the village of Valréas in the southern Rhone Valley. Certified organic.
2021 was a very good vintage in the southern Rhone giving high natural acidity to the wines. This medium bodied red has lovely, rich dark cherry fruit flavours with gentle floral notes and noticeable black pepper and spice. It has fine but firm tannins which would match beautifully with a juicy steak. Drink 2025-2033
