Chateau Thivin Cote de Brouilly Le Clos – 2022

Le Clos used to be called Clos Bertrand – it’s the same single vineyard wine which comes from the historic, walled single vineyard (or “clos”) of Château Thivin. South-west exposed and situated at the foot of Mont Brouilly, where the soil is a little deeper with more clay.
The wine has intoxicating aromas of cherries, dark fruits, peonies and iris. It is medium to full bodied, rich in fruit, with smooth tannins and impressive depth and elegance. It should drink best from 2024-2029.
