HERE ARE MY PERSONAL TIPS FOR YOU
to enjoy as Autumn slowly takes its grip; one white, rosé and red wine which you will absolutely love (and which won’t break the bank!)

Domaine de la Maison Carrée Savagnin Blanc 2016 from Neuchatel reduced from CHF 29.90 to CHF 26.90/75CL
Domaine de la La Maison Carrée is a small, family-owned winery based in the centre of the beautiful old village of Auvernier near Neuchatel, and owned by the Perrochet family since 1827. It is quite simply one of THE shining stars of the Swiss wine industry, making Pinot Noirs which are unbeatable at the price, and a small range of delicious white wines aged in large old oak vats which perfectly express the chalk and limestone soils of the area. This Savagnin Blanc comes from 45 year old vines and is bottled mainly unfiltered to preserve its depth of fruit, richness and complexity of flavour. Fresh, pure and full of chalky minerality. Only around 1800 bottles were produced.

Fatalone Primitivo Teres 2017 from Puglia reduced from CHF 17.90 to CHF 15.90/ 75cl
This surprisingly fresh, biodymaically-made Primitivo looks like a red wine but tastes like a rosé. It is deliciously fruity with a pale, Autumnal sunset colour and has a slight touch of sweetness which makes it ridiculously easy to drink. Of all the 80 wines we served at our Spring Tasting back in May, this was the biggest seller! Drink chilled

Domaine Jones Along Came Jones Lledoner Pelut (aka Hairy-leafed Grenache) 2017 from Languedoc reduced from CHF 22.90 to CHF 19.90/ 75cl
Bursting with youthful, jammy raspberry and violet flavoured-fruit and full of spice, this unusual red has amazing depth and complexity for the price. From the hairy-leafed relative of the Grenache family, grown on 70-80 year old vines.
