Le Bijou De Valrose Rosé Languedoc Cabrières AOP 2016, Southern France

A deliciously dry, fruity, fresh and mineral Rosé from 40+ year old vines grown on the volcanic and schistous soils of Cabrières in the Languedoc. This wine not only tastes great, but it looks fantastic as well, with its pale salmon pink colour. On the palate it is crammed with flavours of wild strawberry, juicy cherries and cream, with attractive freshness and spice on the finish resulting from the deep-rooted old vines. This is a perfect Summer rosé!

Fatalone Primitivo Teres Puglia IGT 2017, Italy

Although its colour is more “sunset red” than rosé, this wine has been produced like a rosé, using only free run grape juice which spends only 36 hours on the skins to gain colour and flavour before being vinified like a white wine. It tastes very slightly sweet, suprisingly fresh for a Primitivo, and is packed full of red cherry and berry fruit flavours, with a bite of minerality on the finish. This was our biggest seller at our Spring tasting in early May. Serve chilled. 100% organic.
